What is DISD?

“DISD” the word, is an acronym that stands for DataFlex International Software Developers.

DISD the group, is a User Group that provides opportunities for communication about development techniques, best practices, and issues involving DataFlex and the business of application development. The group organizes conferences to bring together the vast international community of developers that use Visual DataFlex as their development tool. These conferences have become known as “DISDs” (diz-dees).

What is DataFlex? DataFlex® is developed by Data Access Worldwide, and  is a complete software platform for rapidly developing and deploying Windows, web, mobile and cloud business applications – fast! The finely tuned interaction between the components of the DataFlex system eliminates a huge amount of tedious and redundant custom coding.
